biodrook™ at the Trauma Ukraine 2026 Congress

On October 15–16, 2026, the Trauma Ukraine 2026 Congress took place in Kyiv, Ukraine, organized by the All-Ukrainian Association of Injury Surgery and Rehabilitation (ASIR). The event brought together professionals in injury surgery, traumatology, and rehabilitation to discuss current approaches to complex trauma treatment, reconstructive procedures, and patient recovery. The biodrook™ team attended the congress to engage with the medical community and take part in the professional exchange of knowledge and experience.

Complex Trauma and Personalized Solutions

Treating complex injuries and reconstructing bone defects requires careful consideration of individual clinical circumstances. Patient anatomy, the nature of the injury, and the specific objectives of surgery all play a role in treatment planning. At biodrook™, these challenges are closely connected to our work on patient-specific implants and the development of advanced biomaterials. Key areas relevant to our work include:

• Bone defect reconstruction and individualized treatment planning.

biodrook™ Medical Technologies

biodrook™ develops patient-specific bioresorbable implants made from a composite of polylactic acid (PLA) and hydroxyapatite. Our work combines personalized design and materials science to develop solutions for patients with bone defects. Attending the Trauma Ukraine 2026 Congress gave our team an opportunity to exchange perspectives with medical professionals and gain further insight into the challenges faced by specialists in traumatology and reconstructive surgery.
