On July 28, 2026, Med Forum Odesa took place at the Biopharma Plasma donation center in Odesa, Ukraine. The professional event brought together physicians, healthcare professionals, medical interns, and students from a wide range of medical specialties.
Organized by Biopharma Plasma Odesa in partnership with the MEDEA clinic, the forum created a platform for sharing knowledge, practical experience, and modern approaches to patient care.
Participants toured the plasma donation center, connected with colleagues, and joined discussions on important topics in modern healthcare, including:
• the role of blood component donation in saving lives;
• current perspectives on human papillomavirus, prevention, and vaccination;
• the specific aspects of working with isoimmune donors;
• communication with veterans and patients who have experienced blast-related injuries;
• evidence-based treatment decisions and the “just in case” approach;
• vaccination schedules and the importance of immunization;
• new approaches to disease diagnosis;
• the criteria modern patients use when choosing a physician and the factors that build trust.
For the biodrook team, the discussions related to communication with veterans and people affected by blast-related injuries were especially valuable. Supporting these patients requires not only modern medical solutions but also sensitive, consistent, and responsible guidance throughout every stage of treatment and recovery.
Professional events such as Med Forum Odesa help representatives of different healthcare fields better understand one another’s experience, identify new opportunities for collaboration, and contribute to a more patient-centered healthcare system in Ukraine.
